Description
Shrimp meal can be made from either shrimp destruction being processed before freezing or shrimp, which is not consistent quality to consumers. The material is made into dried shrimp meal (sun or using a hair dryer) and then ground. Shrimp meal has been used in trout and salmon diets as a source of pigments to impart the desired color in the tissues.
